May 18th marks the one year anniversary of the foundation of an amazing dance company: Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre. I had the pleasure of documenting the creation of this project during several months, filming and capturing different parts of the process with five of the best dancers you can see in Atlanta, the talented Tara Lee, Rachel Van Buskirk, John Welker, Christian Clark and Heath Gill.
What they have done is truly inspiring, not only for the quality of the performances and the cool concept behind the company, but for who they are and the relationship they share.
I took several photographs for them as well. And I remember we did a photo session on a bridge that overlooks a train yard with the Atlanta skyline in the background. A symbol for what they are building together. It was a beautiful day, but really, really cold! Despite that, they looked amazing and posed for all the photographs we needed.
So in honor of this day, and as a celebration of what they have accomplished, I wanted to share with you this behind-the-scenes video taken in between photographs. As you’ll see, is a true testament of how incredible they are… and how fun is to work with them.
